Taste the freshness.  We pay extra attention to growing flavorful varieties of veggies and are excited to announce that our farms first harvests of green beans & cucumbers have just been delivered to our retail customers.  Go to "Find Our Products Locally" on the homepage of our blog to access a list of the stores supporting our farm.  Beans & cucumbers are often available for just a few weeks in the end of spring so don't miss out!

Dill... spring flavor!

Our dill crop is ready for market and available now.  Add it to your salad.  Sprinkle it on cooked baby carrots.  Used in risoto with peas & mint...   amazing!  Get a whole bunch & make dill pesto to enjoy with crusty fresh bread.  Go to our tips & recipes page & scroll down to recipe 4.

Spring at the farm

Tender little baby bok choy The warm temperatures of spring are well settled in.  Bean plants are about to start flowering, cucumber plants are 12 inches high getting ready to sprawl.  One of the plantings of spring mix bolted prematurely when we had that week of temps hitting 90 degrees but the next planting is coming along & could do well especially if we would get some showers.  There are pretty yellow wild flowers in bloom everywhere & the baby bok choy already looks good enough to eat!!

A Recipe for Rosemary

Just added a really yummy recipe using rosemary - the best and easiest chicken ever! Delicious and full of rosemary, garlic, and lemon flavor. Everyone will be coming back for more. See our "Tips and Recipes from the Farm" page, and scroll down to Recipe 3.

A PIE RECIPE FOR THE MUSCA SQUASH (or any other winter squash

Try my pie recipe using the Musca squash or West Indies Pumpkin.  It's a real treat anytime and can be made from fresh or frozen cooked puree.  The recipe is posted in the tips and recipes page of my blog.  Scroll down to Recipe 2.

Adding Recipes!!!

I am beginning to add recipes to my blog.  "Recipe 1"  is a fantastic salad dressing & works well with meyer lemons in place of conventional lemons.  This dressing goes well on any salad and is especially good with my farm spring mix.  It's posted in the  tips and recipe page.
